At Green Hope, brunch season lasts all year long (not just in the spring and summertime). Because why shouldn’t it!? There’s nothing like sleeping in late and getting together with friends over a some bacon, eggs, and Bloody Mary’s. But let’s face it – spending $15 on a Bloody Mary from your favorite breakfast hangout isn’t always ideal.
Luckily, you can make a delicious Bloody Mary at home just as easily! Whether you choose to go with Green Hope’s very own Bloody Mary Mix (coming soon!) or create your own from scratch, you are only minutes away from enjoying the perfect Bloody!
Gather all of the ingredients below, then place the celery salt in a shallow saucer. Rub the rim of a 12-ounce tumbler with one of the lemon wedges and coat the wet edge with the celery salt. Fill the glass with ice and place the lemon wedge on the rim.
Grab a cocktail shaker. Add Worcestershire, cayenne pepper, black pepper, horseradish, and hot sauce to the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Then fill the shaker with ice and add 2 ounces of Green Hope Wheat Vodka, 4 ounces of tomato juice, and the juice of the other lemon wedge.
Shake the mixture, taste for heat and seasoning, and adjust as necessary before straining into the ice-filled glass. You can choose to keep it simple by garnishing with a simple celery stalk or get creative with pepperoncini, cherry peppers, pickled green beans, or pickles.
