There aren’t many fruits that are in-season during the colder winter and early spring months. And for those of us who like to stick to locally grown, sustainably farmed foods, this presents a problem when it comes to cooking up our favorite meals or mixing up a delicious cocktail.
But not all Hope is lost! (See what we did there?) Grapefruit is one of the few fruits that is in-season in the winter and early spring, which is why concocting a refreshing Hope Greyhound is the perfect cure for those winter blues!
To make this invigorating cocktail, simply combine 2 ounces of Hope Cane Vodka with 4 ounces of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice in a chilled Old Fashioned glass filled halfway with ice cubes. And no need for simple syrup (after all, that’s most likely the culprit behind those painful hangovers). Hope Cane Vodka is so sweet, it will mask any tartness created from the grapefruit juice.
Cheers!
